FAQs

What activities do you offer?

We have groups designed to appeal to all ages. Our Sunday School offers insight to young children, and our Ark Youth Group is designed to offer teaching and activities to young teenagers. We have a student and young adult community, and we run events in line with the Church calendar. We have our weekly coffee mornings, and make sure our worship varies, so there is something for everyone.

WHAT ABOUT WEDDINGS AND BAPTISMS?

If you’re thinking about getting married or baptised at Beeston Parish Church, we’d love to hear from you. You can contact the Parish Office to be directed to the correct person. In the meantime, please take a look at our wedding information booklet and our baptism guidance.

What styles of services do you have?

We have weekly Eucharists, in which we offer communion. On a Sunday morning, this includes hymns and a sermon. We also hold evening prayer and a Taizé service once a month, to give variety to our worship. Our services might typically be described as “high church”, or “traditional”. For more info, you can view a sample service book here or in church.

Do you have a particular set of beliefs?

No! We are a Church of England congregation, but we do not tell people what to think. We are seeking to be open and inclusive. Our ministry team offers us a broad range of insights in sermons and other teaching and we are always willing to talk about faith.
